Devon’s plastic free eco-laundry is a first in the UK

The UK’s first ever eco-friendly laundry service has launched in Devon and it has already bagged high profile clients.

Former corporate high-flyer Lola Grogan set up The Eco Laundry near Dittisham after finding that other laundry services went no further than offering eco-friendly detergent.

The business, which counts Mitch Tonks’ The Seahorse restaurant among its customers, uses spring water from a borehole that’s heated with a biomass boiler and washing machines run on solar power and renewable energy.
